It all begins with a warm introduction to this passionate basket-maker. The tour de table will be an opportunity to get to know her and the other participants, all curious to discover the secrets of this ancestral craft.

Then it’s time to learn! The expert will guide you through each step, from the round base to the border. You’ll learn how to weave the body of the basket, using traditional basket-making techniques. It’s a real journey back in time, where you’ll enjoy savoring every moment.

You’ll also discover the cutting and peeling techniques that make all the difference to the quality of the finished product.

In this workshop, you’ll explore three different techniques, each more fascinating than the next. You’ll be captivated by the art of basketry, which turns out to be a true art of living.

To accompany this unique experience, the instructor will offer you a seasonally-flavored drink or herbal tea.

At the end of this initiation, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to assemble your own wicker basket, which will inspire you to continue your wickerwork adventure.
