Santon modeling – €150 for 2 persons

Description

During this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the art of santons in Christine’s magnificent workshop!

It all begins with a tour of the workshop and a presentation of all the little tools that will be used during this session.

Then, following Christine’s advice, you’ll discover all the steps involved in making the santons. Patient and always with a smile on her face, she’ll help you choose from among the santon models available to create your playlet of 3 or 4 subjects (characters, animals, scenery).

You’ll work the clay before placing it in a mold. You’ll then carefully remove the “seam” from the mold to ensure a perfect model!

Christine will fire your pieces after they’ve dried. You can then return to pick up your pieces directly from the workshop, or by parcel post (extra charge).

You’ll be able to start a lovely crib in your own home, for a warm moment with your loved ones! Practical information

To take part in this workshop, plan to wear comfortable clothing suitable for the workshop and for cleaning up afterwards, such as leggings or pants. It’s also preferable to keep your fingernails short and your hair tied back. If you can, please bring your own apron.

Please note that when firing parts, there is a risk of breakage. These are the hazards of the trade and the craftsman is not responsible for them.
