Guided tour of the village followed by a tasting of its Gigondas wines.
We are committed to making known the history and heritage of our village, which are intimately linked to our wines. Meet in front of the town hall of Gigondas (Place Gabrielle Andéol – 84190 Gigondas). Jeanne will meet you there for an hour of cultural visit and discovery of the village during which you will learn the secrets of the history of Gigondas which dates back to Roman times. She will also explain the specificities of the formation of the Dentelles de Montmirail, a mountain range with exceptional geology. At the end of the visit, go to the tasting cellar of Pierre Amadieu located at the entrance of the village (5 minutes’ drive – 201 route des Princes d’Orange – 84190 Gigondas) for a tasting of the wines from our terroirs of Gigondas. Accustomed to commenting on the tasting of our wines to an amateur or informed public in our tasting cellar, we will provide you with our know-how and our tools to help you discover the singularity of our wines from our unique terroirs in Gigondas.
Provide shoes and outfits suitable for visiting the village in the sloping streets and stairs.
