Description
Installed on the Albion plateau since 1994, the ASPA offers several sports activities such as canyoning, cliff and caving supervised by professionals: come and learn about caving on the Plateau d Albion, which is one of the most important karstic massifs in France, with its 1100 km² of surface area, its 450 inventoried cavities (the deepest of which goes down to -980m deep) and above all with its unique exsurgence: Fontaine de Vaucluse.
During this speleological discovery, it s up to you to follow the path of the underground Sorgues by progressing on a rope, in the wells and galleries…
This activity makes it possible to apprehend in a playful and sporting way the geological phenomena, to approach the question of water in limestone massif and thus to understand the functioning of the Fontaine de Vaucluse.
On the half-day or the full day, from discovery to major race, we will be able to offer you an outing that meets your expectations…
Example of possible cavities: Aven du Rousti, Aven de lAze, Aven du Borel, Aven du Château, La Perte du Calavon…
